I too have had furry-related stuff on my resume for over a decade, and employers really don't care. Employers are more interested in whether you can do the job, and keep the job.

Somehow I doubt that most players of violent games, if you took away their violent games, would go out and kill real people to compensate. Probably the same goes for cub porn fans: most likely wouldn't have sex with real anthropomorphic children if their cub porn were taken away. Anyway, you can tell it's a blog post because it totally reads like he has a minimum word requirement, like when he goes off on pedophilia tangents. Pedophiles are more likely to be shorter and left-handed? How relevant! Oh yes, and you can tell that it's an article instead of a forum post because he uses references and statistics, just not very well. A whopping 3% of posts on e621.net are tagged "cub"? So he replaced one addiction with another. I suppose it's better than drugs but it can consume your life savings if you let it. Cons, suits, art and memorabilia...it adds up. My husband has discovered furry too...and in the last 6 months, he's turned into someone I don't even recognize. The furry fandom has become more important than our family. Pretty sad if you ask me.

I don't care if someone compares Gay to Furry, if no one is hurt and there isn't any certain stereotypes, then people need to get over it.

All this does is help others, and if people claim this is somehow "Harmful" by comparing or something (Yet no one is being really hurt), then the ones who claim that might be causing harm in a way.

I don't know why more people don't switch to inkbunny from FA. FA is a good place sure I like it, but the admins on FA don't really do very many new features, the site's code is almost a decade old, and any time you try to compare FA to Inkbunny or Sofurry, the admins simply say "we're not inkbunny or sofurry...". Yeah but if you want people to keep using FA, you might want to listen to their feedback and do something to improve it. After all it is their donations that butter your bread. FA is not the only horse is town these days, and procrastinating isn't going to make things better.

This is an article? Seems like something you'd read on a forum post. Not that I don't agree with the sentiments, but my take on this issue is if they are not harming real children, leave them alone. It's like violent video games. Once you remove the one place they go to kill fake people in peace, they're going to go out and kill real people.
